Clutch Industries drives into 1st Position in Drift

It only took one season for CI to make the biggest possible impact on the Toyo Drift Australia Championship. Clutch Industries:

1. Sponsored the series
2. Provided the clutch system that took the winning team to victory
3. Sponsored the Championship winning Team – Team CTS

South Australian driver Leighton Fine drove the Team CTS 180SX to his championship victory in the final round at Oran Park Raceway. It was fair reward for both Leighton Fine as the Driver and Team Owner Bill Bromley who has progressively developed the Team CTS car to the position of championship winner. “We have a great race car, all the better for CI involvement, and continuing development will see it better again for 2009”.

Team CTS was running the Clutch Industries Drift Series Clutch. Leighton Fine said “As a driver I’m very, very happy with the clutch provided by CI”. He went on “I immediately felt at home with the CI Drift Series Clutch, it handled power well on the track and I was not conscious of it on the track, which allowed me to concentrate on driving - that is a great sign”

CI’s racing program has proven to be a great laboratory. The technical data generated by the 2008 Drift Championship win will now be fed back into the CI research and development program in preparation for the next generation of CI Performance clutch protuct

Clutch Industries continues to grow

The continuing expansion of Clutch Industries is seen in many ways. Some large, such as new Distribution Centers, some exciting, such as race victories and championship leadership some smaller such as the development of new performance products.
